Isabel has over 49 years of accounting and taxation experience including 4 years of industry experience,
4 years with large international CPA firms, and 20 years with a quality local firm. Isabel relocated her practice from Palo Alto to Milpitas in 1997. Isabel practices locally, but maintains client relationships around the globe.
Isabel specializes in providing auditing, accounting, and tax services to corporations, L.L.C., L.P., high net worth individuals with complex situations, estates, trusts and not-for-profit organizations. She also specializes in tax planning for foreign taxpayers and business entities in the high technology and venture capital industries.
One area of tax planning is to assist clients who would like to make donations abroad and still be able to take a tax deduction. An example can be found in the July 6, 2004, Wall Street Journal article "New Funds Are Making It Easier to Donate Abroad" that quoting Isabel Chiu regarding overseas charitable gifts.
